Do you live or work in SE Como? Got an idea for a project to build community? To better connect and get to know, or to help out your neighbors? Need some $$ to help get your neighborhood project off the ground, or try something new for your apartment building/floor or your block?
SECIA introduces a new Neighborhood Mini-Grant Program to partner with SE Como residents and provide funds to help make your project ideas happen.
Get creative! The program is meant to be open-ended, and we welcome your ideas, as you know your community best. (Examples of project and activities that support the building of community and engagement include, but are not limited to: COVID-safe block gatherings, inter-generational or events, art events, cultural or educational programs, workshops or demos, community art magazine, community safety initiatives, neighborhood cleanups, etc.)
