Social Justice Study Club

From January-July 2021, our Social Justice Study Club, co-led by SECIA Board member and staff, aimed to broaden ideas of social justice and explore change in the context of our SE Como Community. The group met monthly to learn more about, consider neighborhood impacts and possible action steps addressing a range of social justice topics, such as LGBTQ+ advocacy, implicit racial bias, age and racial equity intersectionality, and practicing allyship. If you are possibly interested in co-leading a renewed similar initiative, please contact laura@secomo.org or jessica@secomo.org.
