Join us at FairShare for a hands-on tomato canning session, where you’ll learn directly from the garden! A food safety expert from UMN Extension will guide us through the essentials of canning, food preservation, and staying safe. 

All materials will be provided, and we’ll share a community meal catered by Zakia Deli. Given the constraints of canning outdoors, we may not have finished products to send home with people, but it promises to be an interesting, educational event with great food! You don’t need to be a garden member to attend, so bring friends/family/housemates/other people with you! All are welcome (children must be supervised).
