Objective: Host regularly scheduled community kid-oriented events at Van Cleve Park to bring kids and families in the neighborhood together! This event ought to develop a sense of connection, belonging, and friendship among all families and children who participate. 

Description: Presently there are many families with children under the age of 13 in the neighborhood who may or may not have met one another. The Como Kids events are -OR- group is intended to connect families with younger children together and allow their children to play together. 

The events can include an array of activities to increase pro-social development among families and their children through games, art, stories, free play, and of course a sweet treat! Activities ought to reflect the colors, sights, sounds, language, values and multiculturalism of the community. 

Como Kids ought to have a unique symbol or art design that can be used in media and marketing to children so that children can connect to and identify with the sign and symbol for years to come as part of their Minneapolis neighborhood community.
